if aperson thinks he is infected by HIV due to unprotected sex ans goes for a blood test .do you think a test like ELISA will help? if so why? if not, why?

DefinitlyELISA will help in diagnosid.

ELISA is used to test antibodies and HIV infected person show antibodies against it.
