Answer:

15/2

Explanation:

Given polynomial,

⇒ 25p² - 15p + 2

On comapring with the general form of equation ax² + bx + c

  • a = 25
  • b = -15
  • c = 2

Then,

  • α + β = -c/a = -(-15)/25 = 15/25
  • αβ = b/a = 2/25

Solving for 1/α + 1/β

⇒ α + β/αβ

Substituting the values,

⇒ 15/25 ÷ 2/25

⇒ 15/25 × 25/2

⇒ 15/2

Required answer: 15/2
