length= (a-b)
breadth=(2a+b)
now area= length × breadth
=(a-b)×(2a+b)
=2a²+ab-2ab-b²
=2a²-ab-b²
=-ab+2a²-b²
=(-1×ab+2a×a-b×b)......(1)
given expression
=kab+2a×a-b×b......(2)
now comparing (1) and (2) we get k= -1
breadth=(2a+b)
now area= length × breadth
=(a-b)×(2a+b)
=2a²+ab-2ab-b²
=2a²-ab-b²
=-ab+2a²-b²
=(-1×ab+2a×a-b×b)......(1)
