If area of a triangle is 48 cm and base is 12 cm ,then find the altitude:

(a) 10 cm
(b) 12 cm
(c) 8 cm
(d) 15 cm​

Area of triangle= 1/2* base* altitude

48= 1/2* 12* altitude

altitude= 48/6

altitude= 8

AREA OF A TRIANGLE=1/2×b×h

48cm square=1/2×12×h

h=2 A/b

=2×48/12

=2×4

h=8cm

height=8cm
