Given :

  • Area of a triangle = 80 cm².
  • Base of the triangle = 10 cm.

To Find :

  • Height of the triangle = ?

Solution :

We know that,

★ Area of triangle = 1/2 base × height

80 = 1/2 × 10 × height

→ 80 = 5 × height

→ height = 80/5

→ height = 16 cm

So, the Height of the triangle is 16 cm.

if area of a triangle is 80 cm² and base is 10 cm find its height?

\huge\mathtt\red{Formula\:Used:-}

\longrightarrow Area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2} × Base × Height.

\huge\mathtt\red{Given}

\longrightarrow Area = 80 cm²

\longrightarrow Base (b) = 10 cm

\huge\mathtt\red{Solution}

According to the formula, we get,

Area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2} × Base × Height.

\longrightarrow 80 = \frac{1}{2} ×10 × h

\longrightarrow h = \frac{80}{5}

\longrightarrow h = 16 cm.
