area of quadrant = (90°/360°) × pi × r^2

38.5= 1/4 × pi × r^2

38.5 × 4 = 3.14 × r^2

154 = 3.14 × r^2

r^2 = 154/ 3.14

r^2= 49 ( approx)

r^2 = 7^2

r= 7

d= 2r

d= 2× 7

d=14
