Find the length of the sides:

Perimeter = 4 x Length

Given that the perimeter is 40 cm

4 x Length = 40

Length = 40 ÷ 4 = 10 cm

Find the altitude:

Area of rhombus = length x altitude

Given that the area is 220 cm²

220 = 10 x altitude

Altitude = 220 ÷ 10 = 22 cm

Answer: The altitude is 22 cm

Given , perimeter of rhombus = 40 cm

since, we know that ,

perimeter of rhombus = 4 × side

Find the length of side :
--------------------------------
according to the given statement :

4 × side = 40

side = 10 cm

Find the altitude of rhombus :
------------------------------------------
area of rhombus = side × altitude

220 = 10 × altitude

altitude = 22 cm

therefore, altitude of rhombus = 22 cm

Answer : Altitude = 22 cm
