Answer:

Area of a rhombus is 100 cm².

One of its diagnol is twice of other.

To Find:

The value of bigger diagonal.

Let us assume:

Smaller diagonal of a rhombus be x.

Bigger diagonal = 2x

Formula used:

Area of a rhombus = (P × Q)/2

Where,

P = Bigger diagonal of a rhombus

Answer:

Area of Rhombus = 100cm^2

Let the smaller diagonal be x therfore bigger diagonal is 2x

By Formula,

ar(rhombus) = 1/2× d1×d2 ( d1 and d2 are

diagonals of rhombus)

:.100 = 1/2 × x × 2x

:. 100 = x× x

:. 100 = x^2

:.x = √100

:. x = 10cm

Therefore smaller diagonal is 10 cm and bigger diagonal is 2x=2(10) = 20 cm
