since, ∆ABC ~ ∆DEF

So, ratio of areas of ∆ABC&∆DEF = ratio of length of similar sides

=> ∆ABC/∆DEF = AB/DE = BC/EF = CA/FD

=> 9/64 = AB/5.6

=> AB = 9×5.6 / 64

=> AB = 50.4 /64 = 0.78cm
