The height of a vertically standing pole to the length of its shadow on the ground is √3:1

Consider the height of pole be √3

∴ length of shadow =1.

In a triangle ABC,

tan ∠ACB =  √3/1

tan ∠ACB = √3

∠ACB = 60°.ANS
