ANSWER

Find the  angle of elevation of the sun at that time.

To proof

As given in the question

The ratio of the height of a vertically standing pole TP the length PF its shadow on the ground is root 3 : 1 .

\frac{TP}{PF} = \frac{\sqrt{3}} {1}

as shown in the diagram given below

tan\theta =\frac{perpendicular}{base}

tan\theta = \frac{TP}{PF}

put the value

tan\theta = \frac{\sqrt{3}} {1}

tan60^{\circ} = \sqrt{3}

\theta= tan^ {-1}( tan60^{\circ})

\theta = 60 ^{\circ}

The angle of elevation is 60

Hence proved
