Now,
First number = a
Lets suppose second number = N
Since Average of two numbers = (Sum of both numbers)/2
=> A = (a + N)/2
Since average is A = ab
=> ab = (a + N)/2
=> a + N = 2ab
=> N = (2ab - a) or a(2b-1)
Hence The Second Number is (2ab-a)
