If b - a = 4 and 2a + 2b = 12, then a2+b2=?
(A2 means is A square and b2 is B square

=> 2(a+b) = 12

=> a+b = 6

=> b+a = 6 .........(II)

Adding (I) and (II) , We get

From (II)

a = 6-b

=> a = 6-5

=> a = 1 ...

So , a² + b² = (1)² + (5)²

= 1 + 25

So , a² + b² = 26 ...
