b = a¾ + 5b-½

a = 16

b = (16)¾ + 5 /√b

b = (2^4)¾ + 5 /√b

b = 2^3 + 5 /√b

b - 5/√b = 8

(b)^1(b)^1/2 - 5 = 8(b)^1/2

b^3/2 = 8(b)^1/2 + 5

(b^1/2)^3 - 8(b)^1/2 - 5 = 0

√b = x

b = x^2

x^3 - 8x - 5 = 0

Solve you gets the value of x and square the value of x.
