The value of B when the value of A is 24.

Solution :

As given,

B is proportional to A,

Then :

B = Constant × A

So, Let's assume the constant as M.

Then,

The value of B = M × A

When B is 3 and A is 18 [ Given ]

Therefore, The value of M will be $\dfrac{1}{6}$

Hence : When A will be 24 & M will be $\dfrac{1}{6}$

∴ The value of B is 4
