If B lies between A and C, AC = 15 cm, BC = 9 cm, what is (AB)2

AC = 15

BC = 9

AB + BC = AC

AB + 9 = 15

AB = 15 - 9 = 6

So,

2(AB) = 2 x 6 = 12cm
