C is 5 percent more than 150

C = 150 + (5/100)150

=> C = 150 +  (1/20)(150)

=> C = 150 ( 1 + 1/20)

=> C = 150 ( 21/20)

=> C = 15 (21/2)

=>C = 315/2

B number is 10 percent less than C

=> B = C - (10/100)C

=> B = C - C/10

=> B = 9C/10

C = 315/2

=> B = 9 (315/2)/10

=> B = 2835/20

=> B = 141.75
