if ball is thrown vertically upwards with a velocity of 40 metre per second then what will be the magnitude of displacement after 6 seconds if g is equal to 10 meter per second square??

v=40

u=0

t=6sec

g=it is always 9.8m/second square

v=u+gt(equation of motion when object is moving in vertically upward direction)

40=0+-9.8(6)

40-58.8=-18.8
