If base have h+ ions. why are they are they not categoriesed as acids ?

(a) Yes, all basic solutions have H+ ions. They are basic because the concentration of hydrogen ions is much less than that of hydroxide ions. (b) When a solution becomes more acidic, pH gets lower.

Yes bases also have H+ ions but it is in very less quantity and OH- ion are greater in quantity because of which it does not show characteristics related to acids
