                            base of the isoceles triangle =  12 cm

FIRST, U HAVE TO FIND THE VALUES OF THE OTHER SIDES

                       i.e;  perimeter of triangle = a + b + c = 35 cm

                               35 = x + x + 12

                               35 = 2x + 12

                               35 - 12 = 2x

                               23 = 2x

                               

        ∴ sides of the isoceles triangle = 23/2 = 11.5 cm
