If base of an isoceles triangle measures 24cm and its area is 60cmsq find its perimetre

i hope this will help you

area of isosceles triangle is heigth*base/2

60=hieght*24/2

60=hieght*12

60/12=hieght

5=hieght

by pythgoras theorem,

side^2=5^2 + 12^2

side^2=25+144

side^2=169

side=13

perimeter =13+13+24

perimeter=50cm
