if base radius of a right circular cylinder is halved keeping the height same find the ratio of the volume of the reduced cylinder to that of the original cylinder

let the radius be 2r and height be h
volume,1 = πr square h
= π4r square h
now , radius = r and height = h
volume,2 = πr square h
ratio = volume 2/ volume 1
= πr square h/ π4r square h
=1/4 = 1:4
