if BC is a diameter of a circle of centre O and OD is perpendicular to the chord AB of the circle, show that CA = 2(OD)

OD is perpendicular to AB and hence also happens to bisect it. Similarly BC is bisected at O. So triangles ABC and DBO are similar with ratio of sides = 2. Hence CA = 2(OD)
