Given:-

B⊂A or B is the subset of A which means set B is in the Set A.

To Prove:-

(i) (A-B)∪B=A

(ii) B'∪A= U

Proof:-

(i) We know that B⊂A and A-B=only A=A(∵ B is subset of A)

  ∴ A∪B=A      (∵B⊂A)

(ii) We know that B'=U-B and also B⊂A.

 ∴ (U-B)∪A=U       (∵A∪U=U)
