here is your answer...

x {}^{2}  + 7x + 10
here,
a=1
b=7
c=10

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - b \div a
 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 7 \div 1
 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 7
so,
( \alpha  +  \beta )2 =  - 7 \times 2
 =  - 14
