Because We can see it because without black all other colors reflect to our eyes. so our eye's ratina can imagine that there is an object without color...

If black coloured object does not reflect any light then we see the black printing on the pages of the book in the following way -
• The majority of the colours are visible when the light rays are present in the environment.
• But,in the case of black colour, it's just an absence of colour which we visualise as black colour.
• This absence of colour is represented as black colour in our visualisation because our visualisation cannot cope up with the absence of colour.
