Answer

In case of plane mirror

object distance =image distance

According to question,

If both object and mirror moves away from each other with the speed of 20m/s.So,

Final object distance from new position of mirror =final image distance from new position of mirror=x+20+20=x+40

Also, shift in image =(x+40)-(x-20)=60m

speed of image with respect to object =60m/s

Answer:

60

Explanation:

velocity of image will be -

velocity of object + 2× velocity of mirror

= 20+ 2× 20

= 60
