Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x,then the width=x-15

2(x+x-15)=430

2(2x-15)=430

4x-30=430

4x=430+30

x=460/4

∴x=115

Area of the rectangle=115x100=11500cm²

HEY MATE

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Let lenght be x

so breadth would be x - 15

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) = 2 ( x + x - 15 )

430 = 2 ( 2x - 15 ) = 4x - 30

430 + 30 = 4x

460 = 4x

x = 460 / 4

x = 115

lenght = x = 115

and breadth = x - 15 = 115 - 15 = 100

Area of rectangle = l × b = 115 × 100= 11500 sq cm
