capacitance =  C                       Charge Q = C * V
charge = Ampere - second.         So   C = Amp-sec/Volt

Energy = work done in Joules = Q * V = Amp-sec- Volt
  so  Volt = Joule / Amp-sec

Resistance R = Ohm = Volt/Amp = Joule/Amp^2-sec

units of  C R =  Amp² sec²/Joule * Joule/Amp²-sec = sec.  unit of time.

Units of  C R^2 = Amp² sec²/Joule * Joule²/Amp⁴-sec²
            = Joule /Amp²
