if Cartesian co-ordinates of a point is (-1. 2) and co-ordinate of a point on the y-axis
is 6. Find the distance between the two points.

given A(-1,2) and B(0,6) [ point B is on y axis x = 0]

to find distance between A&B

formula used d = √(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

d = √(0-1)^2 + (6-2)^2

d = √1 + 16

d = √17 units
