Answer:

( 1-sinA) (1 - cosA ) = 4/5(cos²A sin² A)

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi ,

( 1 + sinA ) ( 1 + cosA ) = 5/4

Multiply both sides with

( 1 - sinA ) ( 1 - cosA )

( 1 - sin²A ) ( 1 - cos² A ) = 5/4 ( 1-sinA)(1-cosA)

Cos² A sin²A = 5/4 ( 1-sina) ( 1- cosA)

Therefore ,

( 1-sinA) (1 - cosA ) = 4/5(cos²A sin² A)

I hope this helps you.

Given

cosA = 5 / 4 the formula of cosA is = Adjacent side / Hypotenuse

In triangle abc 5 is adjacent side and 4 is hypotenuse

By using pythagorous theorm

ac2 = ab2+bc2

here ab is adjacent side and ac is hypotenuse

5^2 = 4^2 + bc2

25 =16 + bc2

bc2 = 25-16

bc2 = 9

bc = root 9

bc = 3

sinA formula is opposite side / hypotenuse

= 3/5

and 1/sin a is 5/3
