If cells of onion peel and rbc are separately kept in hypotonic solution, what among will take place? Explain the reason for your answer.

RBC and Onion peel are kept in the Hypotonic Solution.......

Hypotonic Solution having less solute and more solvent(water)......

Then We see the Observation............

RBC is an animal cell and it doesn't contain Cell wall so if it is placed in hypotonic solution then it causes bursting or swelling of RBC.

Onion Peel is a plant cell and it contains Cell wall so if it placed in hypotonic solutuin, Initially it give resistance to swelling or bursting of Peel cells.

Finally, the peel cells bursts.

Conclusion.

Both cells are swell and burst. But RBC easily swells and Onion peel give Resistance to swell for sometimes..........
