If check and give the right answer because tomorrow is my maths exam and I really need it

1)Virat bought an almirah for rupees 13600 and spent rupees 400 on its transportation.He sold it for rupees 16800.Find his profit or gain percent.

2)What sum will amount to rupees 5525 at 10% .p.a simple interest in 3 years?

3)The population of a town increases 10% yearly.If its present population is 60000, what will be it's population after 2 years.

4)A car can cover a distance of 357 km on 42 litres of petrol.How far can it travel on 12 litres of petrol?

5)The boys and girls in a school are in the ratio 8:5.If the number of girls is 160, what is the total strength of the school?​

Answer:

1) Total c.p. is Rs.14000

then s.p. is Rs.16800

It's profit of Rs. 2800

So, gain percent is 20%

5) Let the no. of boys and girls be 8x and 5x

ATQ

No. of girls =160

So,5x=160

x=32

Total no. of students

=32*5+32*8

=160+256

=416 ans..

4) 42 litre petro covers=357km

1litre petrol covers=357/42

so,12 litre cover=357/42*12=102km.
