This question can be solved through the unitary method.

Cost of 1 Kg or 1000 Grams of  cheese = $ 4.4

Cost of 1 gram of cheese = 4.4/1000

Cost of 200 grams of cheese will be = (4.4*200)/1000

= 880/1000

= $ 0.88 

So, to purchase 200 grams of cheese you have to pay $ 0.88.
