Heya mate...

Here is the answer....

  • Though most of the bacteria are heterotrophic, but still a few of bacteria possess chlorophyll which is responsible for photosynthesis.

  • Many of the Heterotrophic bacteria, obtain or prepare its food by acting as a decomposer which feeds on dead and decaying organic matter and derive its nutrition.
  • Also, some bacteria prepare their food by using third kind of process ,called chemosynthesis , ( also in absence of chlorophyll) by breaking down the energy rich compounds in order to extract energy from it.
