To Prove :-

  • Chords are equal, ie,, RJ = SM

Given :-

  • X1 and X2 are two congruent circle.
  • RJ is chord of circle X1.
  • SM is chord of circle X2.
  • ∠RAJ = ∠SOM

Proof :-

In ΔRAJ & ΔSOM,

⟶ AR = OS (Radius of congruent circles are equal)

⟶ ∠RAJ = ∠SOM (Given)

⟶ AJ = OM (Radius of congruent circles are equal)

⟶ ΔRAJ = ΔSOM (By S-A-S test)

⟶ RJ = SM (CPCT)

Hence Proved!!
