if circumference is 12 cm then find its area

Answer:

C=12cm

as, C=2πr

so, 2πr=12

r=6/π

now, as area of circle=πr²

so, area=π(6/π)(6/π)

=36/π

=36/3.141 (taking π=3.141)

Area =11.461 sq. cm
