Correct Question :- If CO is parallel to ST, and OS is parllel to CT and CS is perpendicular to OT. Quadrilateral COST is a ?

Answer :- Rhombus .

we know that,

  • In rhombus opposite sides are parallel and diagonals intersect at 90° .
  • In square also opposite sides are parallel and and diagonals intersect at 90° .

so,

→ CO ll ST

→ OS || CT

  • Both Opposite sides are parallel .

and,

→ CS ⟂ OT . (Diagonals intersect at 90°.)

therefore, we can conclude that, COST is a rhombus .

[Note :- since all sides are not given equal , we can't assume its a square. ]
