concentration leads to an increase in the rate of photosynthesis. But, beyond a certain limit, starts accumulating in the plant and this leads to slowing down of the process.
So, excessive inhibits photosynthesis especially when it starts to accumulate.
If concentration can potentially increase photosynthetic rate, but
- photosynthetic rate will eventually be limited by other factors, such as the amount of light present/the rate of light absorption of the planteven ignoring other limiting factors, photosynthetic rate can only increase up to a certain point. How high that point is depends on temperature and plant size/species, so it’s hard to say exactly how much photosynthetic rate will increase based on concentration and it’s also hard to say when it’ll plateau.
