given common difference (d) = -8

Now, a18 - a14= (a + 17d ) - (a + 13d )

a18 - a14 = a + 17d - a - 13d

a18 - a14= 4d -----(1)

now put value of "d" in (1)

a18 - a14= 4 ( - 8)

a18 - a14= - 32

"hope it helps"

TheLostMonk: its - 32
