If consumers of specific level either increase or decrease in number what will be effect on food chain?​

in both cases there will be imbalance of food chain as if number of consumer will increase then there will be more pressure on producer and if number of consumer will decrease then there will be less consumption of produce will lead to waste of production and will cause stress on food chain.
