Given : coordinates of  A, B, C D are (2,1),(0,-1), (-1,8), (4,3)

To Find :  (m_{AB})(m_{CD})

Solution:

A(2 , 1)

B (0 , - 1)

(m_{AB}) = \dfrac{-1 - 1}{0-2}

\implies (m_{AB}) = \dfrac{-2}{ -2}

\implies (m_{AB}) = 1

C(-1,8)

D(4,3)

(m_{CD}) = \dfrac{8 - 3}{-1-4}

\implies (m_{CD}) = \dfrac{5}{ -5}

\implies (m_{CD}) = -1

(m_{AB})(m_{CD}) =(1)(-1)

\implies (m_{AB})(m_{CD}) = -1
