COMPOSITION IS THAT ONLY NA....REDDISH BROWN LAYER OF COPPER OXIDE GETS COMPOSITTED ON IT.

If copper metal is heated over a flame....its undergoes redox reaction and forms a composition of copper oxide which is of reddish brown colour. hope this will help you...
