We know that ,

if two triangles are similar, then the ratio of areas of two similar triangles is equal to the square of ratio of their corresponding sides

Thus ,

Area(∆MAP) ÷ Area(∆ROW)} = (4/3)²

Since , Area(∆MAP) = 16 cm²

Thus ,

Area(∆ROW) = 3 cm

Hence , the area of triangle ∆ROW is 3 cm
