if cos(20°+x)=sin 30 then x=?

cos (20+x) = sin 30
=> cos(20+x) = sin(90-60)
=> cos (20+x) = cos 60
=> 20 + x = 60
x= 40

cos (20+x)=cos 60{sin 30 = cos 60}
now cancel cos because on both the sides cos is there.
20+x=60
x=60-20.
x=40.
