Then, sin#= 12/37
and tan# = 12/35

here,

 \cos( # )  =  \frac{base}{hypotenuse}

so,

base=35

hypotenuse=37

by Pythagoras theorem,

hypotenuse^{2}  = base^{2}  + perpendicular^{2}  \\  > perpendicular^{2}  = hypotenuse^{2}  - base^{2}  \\  > perpendicular^{2}  = 37 ^{2}  - 35^{2} = 1369 - 1225 = 144

so, perpendicular=√144=12

so,

sin(#)=12/37

tan(#)=12/35
