If cos(3x-10) = sin x, then find the value of x.​

Answer:

cos ( 3x - 10 ) = cos ( 90 - x)

thus..

3x - 10 = 90 - x

4x = 100

x = 25..

[∵Sin(90-Ф) = cos Ф]

So in,

Sin (x)=cos(3x-10)

cos (90-x)=cos(3x - 10)

{cos on either side get cancelled}

The remaining equation is,

90-x=3x -10

100= 4x

x=25
