cos^4  θ+sin^2  θ=cos^4  θ−cos^2 θ+1=m

∴(cos^2  θ−  1/2)^2 +  3/4 =m    

∴m≥  3/4

Maximum value of cosθ=1

∴m≤  3/4 +(1−  1/2)^2 = 1
