If cos a = 1/2 and tan b = 1/√3 then find sin (a+b) where a and b are acute angles.​

cos a = 1/2

We know that only cos 60° is 1/2

So, a = 60°

tan b = 1/√3

We know that only tan 30° is 1/√3

So, b = 30°

Sin(a+b) = Sin(60°+30°)

=Sin 90°

=1
