Answer:

sinA = √31/16 and tanA = √31/15

Step-by-step explanation:

cosA = 15/16 = b/h

p =√16²-15²

p = √31

sinA =p/h = √31/16

tanA = p/b = √31/15

QUESTION⤵️

if cos A=15/16, then find sin A and tan A

ANSWER⤵️

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

 {h}^{2}  =   {b}^{2}  +  {p}^{2}

in cos A =

 \frac{15}{16}  =  \frac{b}{h}

 {16}^{2}  =  {15}^{2}  +  {p}^{2}

 {256} = 225 +   {p}^{2}

 {p}^{2}  =  \: 31

p =  \sqrt{31}

p = 5.6

Sin A = \frac{p}{h}

 \implies \purple{Sin A = \:  \frac{5.6}{16} }

 \tan \: A =  \frac{p}{b}

 \implies \purple{ \tan A =  \frac{5.6}{15} }
